Our History
The Glendale Management Association (GMA) serves as the representative organization for management employees within the City of Glendale. Our association encompasses a diverse range of departments, including Finance, Information Technology, Community Development, Public Works, Library Services, Parks & Recreation, Housing, Police, Fire and more. GMA is dedicated to advocating for the interests of our members, ensuring fair compensation, benefits, and working conditions.
The association is governed by an elected Board of Directors, comprising experienced leaders from various city departments. These directors ensure that GMA remains active in crucial areas such as labor negotiations, professional development, community engagement, and policy advocacy. Through these efforts, we continuously strive to enhance the careers and livelihoods of our members while fostering a thriving municipal workforce.
